The rivers and Lakes of Killarney provide opportunities to fish and there are numerous golf courses from which to choose. This is an enviable location for anyone who enjoys beautiful surroundings and outdoor pursuits. Star War fans will have the opportuinity to see Skellig Michael Rock, as they drive around the Ring of Kerry. The house was built in 1740 and was restored and refurbished in recent years to a very high specification. If you are seeking an intimate exclusive house for a private function, such as a small intimate wedding, civil wedding ceremony or family gatherings this is a perfect location. Ground floor: Entrance hall, boot room and cloakroom. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped, with both Aga and halogen hob and an icemaker. There are two reception rooms, a dining room, games room and home entertainment room. Sky is available in the Morning and Entertainment Rooms. There is wireless connectivity throughout the house.
First floor: Six bedrooms and six bathrooms. There are televisions and freesat available in all bedrooms and in the kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious and attractive.

Nearby Killarney, with its Lakes, and its many pubs and fine restaurants, is a mecca for all tourists to Ireland. Excellent cycling, horse riding and walking in the mountains (local guides can be arranged). Killarney’s two championship golf courses are within 10 minutes of the house. Tralee, Waterville and Ballybunion golf courses are within an hour’s drive. Excellent base for touring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, the Beara Peninsula and tranquil local villages. There are three Killarney Lakes; Lough Leane, Middle Lake and Upper Lake. All are excellent for salmon and brown trout. Trolling for salmon with either spoons or minnows is the most popular method used. Fly fishing for trout with wet flies is very effective but spinners can also be used. You will also find wonderful wild brown trout fishing in the Gap of Dunloe and Black Valley region.
